Let a Rule be issued calling upon the opposite parties to show cause as to why impugned judgment and order of conviction and sentence dated 29.03.2023 passed by the learned Special Tribunal 1, Rajbari in Special Tribunal Case No.02 of 2019 arising out of G. R. No.187 of 2018 originating from Baliakandi Police Station Case No.14 dated 25.10.2018 convicting the petitioner under section 19A of the Arms Act, 1878 and sentencing him to suffer rigorous imprisonment for 10 (ten) years and also convicting the petitioner under section 19(f) of the Arms Act, 1878 and sentencing him to rigorous imprisonment for 07 (seven) years and all the sentences shall run concurrently should not be quashed and/or pass such other or further order or orders as to this Court may seem fit and proper.
The Rule is made returnable within 6 (six) weeks from date. Pending disposal of the Rule, let the accused petitioner Riazul Sheikh, son of Dulu Sheikh be enlarged on ad-interim bail till
disposal of the Rule on furnishing bail bonds to the satisfaction of the learned Special Tribunal-1, Rajbari.
Let the realization of fine be stayed till disposal of the rule.
