Let a Rule be issued calling upon the opposite parties to show cause as to why the order dated 23.06.2024 passed by the Joint Sessions Judge, Court No. 1, Jhenaidah in arising out of judgment and order of conviction and sentence dated 28.05.2024 passed by the Joint Sessions Judge, Court No. 1, Jhenaidah in Sessions Case No. 1306 of 2022 arising out of C.R. Case No. 384 of 2022 (Jhenaidah) convicted the appellant under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 and sentencing him to suffer simple imprisonment for 1(one) year and also pay fine of Tk. 1,12,00,000 (one crore twelve lakh) only rejecting the application filed by the convict-petitioner praying for bail or condition to prefer an appeal should not be set aside and/or such other or further order or orders passed as to this Court may seem fit and proper.
The Rule is made returnable within 4(four) weeks from date.
Let the realization of fine be stayed.
Let the convict-petitioner Md. Jahangir Sheikh, son of Md.
Abdul Bari Sheikh (Badol) be enlarged on bail for 6(six) months from the date on furnishing bail bond to the satisfaction of the Joint Sessions Judge, Court No. 1, Jhenaidah.
