cause as to why the impugned order dated 10.06.2024 passed by the Joint Sessions Judge, Court No.2, Jamalpur rejecting an application for bail filed under Section 426 (2A) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898 for preferring appeal against the judgment and order of conviction and sentence dated 24.04.2024 passed by the Joint Sessions Judge, Court No.2, Jamalpur in Sessions Case No. 384 of 2023 arising out of C.R. Case No. 93(1) 2023 convicting the petitioner under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instrument Act, 1881 and sentencing him thereunder to suffer simple imprisonment for 1(one) year and to pay a fine of Tk. 15,00,000 (fifteen lakh only) should not be set aside and/or such other or further order or
orders passed as to this Court may seem fit and proper.
The Rule is made returnable within 4(four) weeks from date.
Let the convict-petitioner Md. Abdul Al Motin (Moyna), son of Md. Wahed be enlarged on bail for a limited period of 2(two) months from the date on furnishing bail bond to the satisfaction of the Joint Sessions Judge, Court No.2, Jamalpur.
